Melancholy Friday.....

I am grieved to tell you all that we are taking this weekend off.......in a word: we shall not be at the market tomorrow. :(
We shall miss all our lovely customers, but will look forward to next week when we shall be back with more lettuce and bake goodies for you all to enjoy! :)

Aquaponics has a very low cost as compared to Aquaculture and Hydroponics.
This is because instead of provide regular materials to the plants and animals from outside, these stuffs and generated by themselves internally and
the waste products are also used up internallyAfter reading the last post here,
you already know that Aquaponics is very profitable in the sense of time space and expense.

What is Aquaponics?

Aquaponics is a way of growing vegetables sustainably. It is rather similar to hydroponics, only where in hydroponics, you need to add nutrients to the water, we have very large fish- tanks stocked with fish; so the fish give us all the nutrients we need for the plants to grow. The way that this system is more sustainable than hydroponics, is that the water is curculated through the whole system. We pump fishy water to the plants, the plants suck up the nutrients (thus filtering the water), the water is then pumped back into the fish-tanks as clean as if we had put it through a filter.
