Happy Thursday!

So we have had a lovely week off, and are now ready to go back to the market for all our customers! :)

Here is a bit of what we shall have: greenleaf lettuce, bib lettuce, flat leaf parsley, fennel, pac choi, kale,escarole, watercress, and maybe some cilantro plants.
We will also have: German chocolate cake, pumpkin cake with spiced buttercream frosting, sticky cinnamon buns, hummingbird cake, nutella chocolate chip cookies, and pumpkin bread.

After reading the last post here, you already know that Aquaponics is very profitable in the sense of time space and expense.
Now, today I am gonna tell you about all the benefits of Aquaponics

What is Aquaponics?

Aquaponics is a way of growing vegetables sustainably. It is rather similar to hydroponics, only where in hydroponics, you need to add nutrients to the water, we have very large fish- tanks stocked with fish; so the fish give us all the nutrients we need for the plants to grow. The way that this system is more sustainable than hydroponics, is that the water is curculated through the whole system. We pump fishy water to the plants, the plants suck up the nutrients (thus filtering the water), the water is then pumped back into the fish-tanks as clean as if we had put it through a filter.
